Hacienda on Henderson is a new addition to the porch scene in Dallas, providing the food, drinks, and people watching that makes it feel like a Cinco de Mayo party all year long. One of the best ways to enjoy the porch-side fare is on Tuesdays, when margaritas and tapas are only $3. Nachos, mini chimis, and taquitos are safe bets, and although they are small portions, they are worth the three bucks.

If Henderson Avenue isn’t full of eye candy enough to watch passersby, large televisions are ideal for watching the fights and big games. Besides an enjoyable happy hour, dinner is equally delicious. The Verde Chicken Enchiladas have a nice citrus tang and the shouldn’t be missed. The bartenders are friendly and the drinks are always cold, so order a ‘rita, a few tasty tapas, and celebrate like it’s Cinco de Mayo anytime you feel the urge.
