The Urban Nutcracker is a hot, cool alternative to the regular Nutcracker ballet. Sure, there’s still the classic elements and beautiful Tchaikovsky music, but the Urban Nutcracker takes entertainment to another level. Using the city streets as the inspiration, this rendition uses hip hop, urban tap, and jazz to tell the famous story. This is a very unique holiday performance that you can only find in Boston.
