In an arena with extremely little room for error, the pressure on a ballet troupe far outweighs that of any leggy model group struttin’ their stuff for Michael Kors or DVF. But Robert Joffrey’s production of The Nutcracker has been delivering year after year and is now considered America’s number one Nutcracker performance.

From start to finish, the dancing, the backdrop, the costumes are awe-inspiring. Joffrey’s Nutcracker is a Chicago tradition, but has received rave reviews from all over the nation, including the Washington Post declaring it as “A perfect ballet!”

On top of a beautiful performance, The Chicago Sinfonietta performs Tchaichovsky to perfection as well.
