No, N9ne Steakhouse doesn’t have Marion Cotillard singing or Penelope Cruz sexily sliding across the floor in cabaret numbers — that’s the movie. Even so, N9ne Steakhouse & Ghostbar in Chicago, like some of its counterparts in Dallas and Las Vegas, is full of glamour, glitz and celeb spottings.

Going strong since 2000, when it was named “Best New Restaurant of Chicago,” by Chicago Magazine, it continues to pull in rave reviews, which is not an easy task in a city that turns over new restaurants as fast as runways switch models. Big and beautiful, this restaurant houses 800 for dinner and the smells emitting from the kitchen are tantalizing enough to invoke 800 hungry appetites.

For those that aren’t big fans of juicy red meat, but who still want to partake in the lush ambiance, the menu offers a plethora of seafood, a killer wild mushroom risotto and a black miso cod, or skip the menu all together and work the killer Ghostbar! But those here for the meat should grab a kobe flatiron and a four-sauce sampler (that includes the amazing truffle hollandaise)!
