n New York City, there’s a surprise in every corner. Yesterday during lunch, we discovered this performance art piece at Chashama, in the Garment District. The piece, by artist L. Mylott Manning, involves the transformation of the front window of the gallery space into a jungle of endless thread and fabric. The piece centers around a woman entwined in hundreds of tiny spools of thread.We highly recommend peeping this. The performance will run through April 8 at 7 p.m. An artist reception is happening today from 6-8 p.m.
