The 10th annual Atlanta Jewish Film Festival – Atlanta’s largest film festival- kicks off with an extraordinary collaborative event on January 4th with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Guest conductor Richard Kaufman leads the orchestra in a mélange of Jewish-themed film scores – from Schindler’s List to Masada – that will be presented with montages of stills from each movie profiled.
This year, the AJFF will showcase 50 international, independent and studio films that focus on storytelling, and the universality of themes in the human condition. Screenings will be replete with guest speakers – actors, directors, authors, academics and other experts – who will lead audience members in a lively dialogue and in-depth examination of the featured films.
