The New Gansevoort Hotel

The Gansevoort Park is another gem brought to NYC by the Gansevoort Group, which turns to be their most impressive location yet. The entire place is funky, very modern, decorated with bright colors and hip furniture, but very comfortable and welcoming in the same time. According to the ‘connaisseurs’, Gansevoort’s Penthouses (PH1 and PH2) host some of the best parties these days. A significant part of the space is completely made of glass walls, offering amazing views of the city, and giving a modernistic feeling to the entire place. They also have a beautiful terrace on the top floor, where a DJ spins and summery cocktails are served. In general, more than one party takes place at the same time on these two floors, bringing together a mixed, stunning crowd of people. All these and more make the new Gansevoort Hotel a Must this summer. 420 Park Ave S New York, NY 10016 (212) 317-2900

Bottle Service Then Brunch At Libation

New York City is full of hot nightclubs, but not many can brag about a great brunch as well.  Libation, however, is one that can.  It’s a stylish restaurant and lounge in the evening, an out of control three floor playground set to hip-hop and DJ mash-ups at night, and the next see-and-be-seen brunch spot on Sunday afternoons. But to do it all and to do it well is the impressive part.Picture 48 With three bars and two DJ booths on three floors, Libation is a veritable nightclub.  The dancing gets pumping at around eleven and bottle service is available all night on the balcony.  DJs fly in from Las Vegas and California to spin the latest tracks and bartenders mix specialty drinks such as the Libation Lemonade: fresh blueberries and blackberries muddled with fresh squeezed lemon juice, sugar and Stoli Bluberi Vodka. After a long night of dancing and drinking, come back to nurse your hangover away with the Texas French Toast.  It comes with bananas, walnuts, and your choice of bacon, sausage, or ham, and-most importantly-unlimited Mimosas and Bloody Marys.  Brunch reservations are a must for Sunday, but planning ahead for a Libation double-header is worth it, because haven’t you always wondered what a nightclub would be like in the day?

Pandora’s Got Nothing on The Box

What's in ThPicture 11e Box? Most people can't get into it, but those who have, don't even know what to say. The Box is incredible nightlife decadence and over the top sexuality that is unique- and shocking- even to this City that's seen it all. One part Folies Bergere theater (complete with barely clothed dancers) and one part super trendy nightclub, The Box is still one of the hottest doors to get into, eventhough it's a few years old. The Box is shaped like a theater, complete with round tables and a second floor balcony (a.k.a. the VIP section). Starting at 1:30 every night, three "interesting" shows perform on stage in hour intervals, with each one getting naughtier and raunchier. The MC (the most famous one being Raven O) kicks the sharp-witted stage shows that are all about finding social commentary through nudity, sexuality and even faux murders. Featuring what could be circus stars (if they weren't always nude), the acts go from crazy robotic dancers to knife wielding throwers to up and coming singers, but they are most always, always very risque performances. Needless to say, reservations, and a very large pocketbook, are needed to get into this place that would make Sin City blush.

It’s SL If You Know Where To Go

Out with the old, in with the new. In New York nightlife, that means goodbye Britney fave Lotus, hello super-hot Simyone Lounge. What was once the VIP section (floor) of the Chelsea favorite Lotus is now an entire club that is so VIP it goes by its initialsPicture 9. Brought to you by the masters of meatpacking nightlife, EMM Group of Tenjune fortune, SL has all the same management, killer music, and strict doormen that make a club du jour a hot staple in New York City. This highly anticipated re-opening has thus far lived up to its buzz. Opening during New York's favorite holiday season, a.k.a. Fashion Week, SL brought in leggy models and the admiration of the hard-to-please New York Times. Since then both young and Hollywood have been making this their nightlife home, from the cast members of Gossip Girl to the likes of Demi Moore and Mickey Rourke. If you're one of the beautiful few that makes it past the door, the basement club is pure energy. At the front is a narrow bar/lounge (lounge is a term used very lightly, meaning bottle-service tables with large, leather couches) that opens up into a full-on standing room only club complete with rainbow disco balls and world-renowned DJ's spinning techno, classic rock, top 40, and hip hop all in one night.

Ibiza’s Party Spirit Hits NYC at Pacha

Pacha, imported from European party spot Ibiza, is the one of the city's mega-clubs with staying power. Its 30-thousand square foot space is divided into four levels and a multitude of high design seating niches that surround an open atrium with an intimate dance floor at its base. The top floor is VIP only, an area affectionately called Pachita, where sleek babes and stunning boys lounge the night away on the low-slung banquettes. Just like Pacha in Ibiza, the New York club hosts big name DJs including Erick Morillo, David Guetta, Sander Kleinenberg, and Roger Sanchez.
