5. DC’s Design Best at Design House 2010 April 10-30
The annual DC Design Home brings together Washington, DC’s top interior designers to use the best in today’s home renovation and design in order to transform a house for people to see. This year’s house is the famous Beaux Arts home, once home to Ambassadors of Mauritius and Uruguay and the site of President Truman’s inauguration party.
With over 10,000 square-feet, nine bedrooms, and ten bathrooms, there is plenty of room for each designer to showcase their talents. In fact, each designer redesigns a specific area of the house, so each area will be unique. The house will definitely be interesting to walk through.

3. Get “Naked at the Art Museum” Feb. 13-14
Shake up this Valentine’s Day with something new, perhaps a scavenger hunt? This isn’t your typical hunt, searching for little treasures in plastic eggs with the kiddies on Easter, but something a little more mature. The American Art Museum has partnered with Watson Adventures to bring lovebirds something new this holiday: Naked at the Art Museum.
Browse the museum with your lover as you search for the naked and the naughty. Scrutinize a she-devil temptress, an Eve who’d get you to bite an apple, and a scatterbrained drinker, while you envy native men that have no need for a gym. Step into the National Portrait Gallery to learn the scandalous secrets of some past presidents and other famous Americans. You don’t have to be an art historian to enjoy this fantastical event.
