Start the New Year on the right foot and join in Chicago’s 24th annual 5K run/walk, benefiting the Lakeview Citizens Council.  Beginning at the south end of the beautiful Lincoln Park neighborhood, the run/walk course winds north on a lakefront bike path to Diversity Harbor, and concludes at the North Avenue Field House.  A cadre of approximately 1,500 runners and walkers will help financially aid the Lakeview Citizens Council, a non-profit neighborhood organization.  And then there’s the party! Held at Sedgwicks Bar & Grill (1935 N Sedgwick Street) participants can eat, drink and be very merry, with trophies and raffles galore.
