Chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate. That’s what you’ll find here at the annual two-day Chocolate Lovers Festival in Old Town Fairfax. There are plenty of events to participate in: buy chocolates from vendors at the Taste of Chocolate; create a work of art using chocolate as the medium at the Chocolate Challenge; devour the chocolate chip pancakes at the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast. There are also historic re-enactments, children’s activities, craft shows, open houses at historic buildings and many more chocolate themed events. Some of the events do require a fee, while other ones are free to all visitors. Whether you’re bringing a date or the whole family, there’s plenty to do here.
