The king of Rodeo shows, Buffalo Bill, is celebrating his 164th birthday at the Buffalo Rose Events Center. Too bad he won’t be there to attend, but the crowd will be livin’ it up for him with live entertainment by RattleSnake Jake, historical displays and costume contests. The prize for best costume for Old West Male is $100, which can appropriately be spent on the open-fire grilled food served at the event. The bash has been running for 30 years and is presented by Golden’s Buffalo Bill Days.
