The International Center of Photography in Midtown Manhattan offers its visitors the best lesson in the history of photography one can get. Its collection includes works by Robert Capa, Gerda Taro, Mitch Epstein, photographically illustrated magazines, old photographic mediums, as well as pieces of American and European documentary photography from 1930’s up to 1960’s. The Center also has a database for those interested in research, or for curious minds. It currently has in display a solo show – ‘When , one of the most influential Beijing contemporary artists.
