1. Miami Wine & Food Festival April 22-24
Ranked as one of the top ten wine events in the nation, the 15th Annual Miami Wine and Food Festival is an event for connoisseurs and simple wine fans alike. Last year’s festival boasted wines from over 60 different wineries, including Moet Hennessy USA and Napa Ridge. The three day festival features an array of culinary and wine events including fine wine tastings, champagne tastings, an interactive dinner with celebrity chef Todd English, and some of the highest quality wine lots in South Florida.
4. Little Five Points’ Mardi Gras! Feb. 14
You don’t have to go to New Orleans to experience an all-out Mardi Gras event. With three fabulous events rolled into one, Little 5 Points pulls out all the stops at the annual one-day outdoor music and food festival.
The fun starts at 10am with the Half-Fast 5K Road Race, which runs through the historic neighborhood of Candler Park. Next, exercise your liver at several local bars for the Abita Pub Crawl. Finally, chill out with friends and listen to some great tunes while you munch on jambalaya, crawfish, and beans and rice.
