Held once a month, the curious public and the Los Angeles Astronomical Society meet to talk the sun, moon, planets, stars and other celestial objects. Not only is it free, you also get to pick the brains of knowledgeable astronomers- and get to use their equipment! Yes, you can try out to telescopes to see your favorite star or planet with your own two eyes.
