1. Concepts & Hot Rods at Denver Int’l Auto Show April 7-11

Screen shot 2010-03-26 at 2.44.19 PMFeaturing more than 500 of the newest vehicles from 30 manufacturers, this auto show is the largest new car display between the Mississippi River and Los Angeles. There are a variety of cars put on display, including muscle cars, concept cars, luxury cars, SUVs, vintage racers, hot rods, and much more. This year, the exhibiting manufacturers include Aston Martin, BMW, Jaguar, Lotus, Mercedes-Benz, and Tesla. There are factory and dealer representatives at the show to answer any questions.

For those who want to do more than just look, there are the “Ride & Drive” programs to test drive select new GM and Kia models. There are plenty of other events as well, like a custom styling and accessories area and the Kids Stop Pit Stop.

3. Hottest Debuts at NY Auto Show April 2-11

Picture 19There will be 32 highly anticipated debuts- 18 world introductions and 14 North American- at this year’s New York Auto Show. It is the new crop of hybrids that has the blogosphere and motor heads buzzing. Hyundai is set to debut its first ever hybrid, the 2011 Hyundai Sonata, along with Porsche’s Cayenne hybrid and Lexus’ sporty compact hybrid, just to name a few. Other highly anticipated debuts include the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG with Gullwing doors, Ford Shelby GT500, Audi A8 and more . The New York Auto Show is only for 10 days, but you’ll definitely be hearing about what’s on display for months- or years- to come.

2. Drive Off to the Washington Auto Show 1/27-1/30

Picture 10700 new vehicles, giveaways, live entertainment, celebrities and special appearances galore makes the Washington Auto Show an event that will delight car lovers and families alike.

But what your eyes will really turn to are the new innovations in alternative fuels featured in the Green Car Pavilion. As the auto show’s tagline stakes out “Change Happens Here.”
