Who knew exercising could also be so musical and artistically graceful?
Starting mid-November through mid-March the Ice Rink at the National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden will be open for general admissions. Skating in the cool crisp air while enjoying music from the state-of-the-art sound system and twirling amidst magnificent sculptures is truly a romantic, yet cultured experience.
Don’t forget to stop by the Pavilion Café to power up! The café boasts an unobstructed panoramic view of the Sculpture Garden. Did I mention that they serve fresh wraps, gourmet pizzas, hot coco, and even wine and beer?
Noguchi Museum
The Noguchi Museum, chartered as The Isamu Noguchi Foundation and Garden Museum, was designed and created by the Japanese-American sculptor Isamu Noguchi in 1985 to preserve and display his sculptures, architectural models, stage designs, drawings, and furniture designs. It is a two story museum with an outdoor sculpture garden. It is located in the Long Island City section of Queens, one block from the Socrates Sculpture Park. In 2004, a major renovation allowed the museum to remain open year round.

4. New Getty Exhibit: Leonardo da Vinci’s Sculptures April 1-30
Leonardo da Vinci was a painter, sculptor, architect, engineer (military, civil, and aeronautical), inventor, anatomist, cartographer, musician and undoubtedly one of the greatest minds of the last thousand years. That’s definitely quite a list!
To celebrate one of this incredible person, the Getty Center is putting on “Leonardo da Vinci and the Art of Sculpture: Inspiration and Invention,” where the focus is on one of his many talents, his achievements as a sculptor. Though no sculptures can securely be attributed to Leonardo himself, the exhibit features the work of da Vinci’s inspiration, Donatello, and his trusted associate, Rustici, whom he closely worked with on many sculptures.
These works, some of which have never left Italy until now, along with Leonardo’s many surviving drawings, give us a glimpse into his artistic accomplishments.
