Make Every Day Even Sweeter with Tache Chocolate

A great activity for any special occasion is taking a chocolate making class. It is a perfect opportunity to make custom chocolate gifts for all your friends & family or purchase a class as a gift! Whatever the case maybe, Tache’s got plenty of chocolate to go around. Custom gift packaging and gift certificates are available upon request, too!

Spend your hour and a half lesson in Tache’s chocolate factory learning everything from cultivating, tempering, tasting, coating to decorating your own delicious chocolate delicacies. Make popular treats like chocolate mustache lollipops, caramel kisses, chocolate bars, mendients, grignotines (french chocolate clusters of dried fruit & nuts), or even invent your own!

Principle teacher, chocolatier and owner, Aditi Malhotra, is a graduate of Switzerland’s Glion Institute, the French Culinary Institute and named by Zagat as one of their top “30 Under 30” chefs.

Creatures of Comfort got your style covered!

Creatures of Comfort is the type of store every fashionista will fall in love with. But the store it is not for fashionistas only. In fact, it has a little bit for everybody: from shoes, to clothing, unique accessories, and art. Despite the variety of things they sell the space looks airy, and beautifully organized. They carry a large variety of labels such as Acne, Tom Scott, MM6, and of course the house label, Creatures of Comfort. Most of the labels have designs in minimalistic style with a very modern, urban touch. The store is getting daily shipments of merchandise, so expect to see new things every time you walk in. Creatures of Comfort will make sure you never go out of style.

Cleo

The menu is mostly small plates, but instead of an annoying sprawl of platters that don’t fit on the table, the delicious spreads and dips are presented in small bowls. Who wouldn’t swoon over the slurry of piquillo peppers with feta or the thick Lebanese yogurt with olive oil, lemon and dried oregano? They’re wonderful spread on warm, freshly baked flatbread.

The menu is fresh and appealing, the flavors big and rustic. I love the artichoke leaves, charred at the edges from cooking in the wood-burning oven. Cauliflower florets come perfumed with vaudovan (a French curry powder) and dotted with cashew nuts. And instead of the ubiquitous pizza, Cleo is serving Mediterranean flatbreads.

All Saints SoHo

When this British store finally opened its doors in SoHo New York, it was love at first sight. I would describe their style, as modern, urban, aggressive, but comfortable in the same time. Their cuts are asymmetric, sometime random, with the use of a lot of leather. The predominant colors are white, black and gray. But even is All Saints is not your fashion style, I would still recommend you to pay a visit. The store is very large, and it is decorated with metal, wood, and dimmed lights, creating a very interesting atmosphere. Expect it to be pricey; however, All Saints will guarantee you to look unique, and fashion-forward.

Pizzeria Stella

Steeelllllllaaaaaa! No, not talking streetcars here, just exclaiming the love Philadelphia has for the new hotspot, Pizzeria Stella. Pizzeria Stella is the newest Stephen Starr gem with a boisterous and family-friendly atmosphere. The menu is limited, but if you’re in search of seriously yummy thiPicture 7n-crust pizzas with a nice house red wine, you’re in luck.

The pizza bar is a fantastic place to sit with two or three people and watch the chefs do their work. When visiting with four or more, grab a table and order family style, because there is no way to choose which toppings you’d like.

The margherita pizza, loaded with fresh basil and just the right amount of cheese, is a fantastic place to start. More adventurous diners should try their feature “tartufo” pizza, made with black truffles, fontina, parmesan, and topped with a fried egg. End your meal with the secret family recipe house-made gelato, everything from olive oil to chocolate, and presto, you’re good to go!

Taste The Forbidden Fruit: Eden Nightclub

Step off of Hollywood Boulevard and step into Eden, literally.

Eden Nightclub in Hollywood is the newest nightclub addition to what is referred to as Hollywood row. But what makes this nightclub different than the rest? Everything.

Let’s start with the decor – the interior is chic and sexy, filled with dark furniture and wood for days. And if you ever question why they call this particular club Eden, just take a glance to your left or right, where you will find love quotes all over the walls, to whisper into your date’s ear, of course.

But if you want a piece of the garden, you’ll have to wait in line to get there. Unless you know someone at the door, can put your name on the guest list or want to go all out for a table.

Eden Nightclub – eating the forbidden is encouraged.
