Kai Lin Art Gallery

Kai Lin Art is a contemporary art gallery located in the heart of Midtown Atlanta that focuses on local, emerging artists. The gallery runs on an accelerated exhibition calendar with a new opening every eight weeks.

Our gallery includes all mediums of art from works on canvas to photography, sculptures to handcrafted pieces. The gallery is available for event rental and the state-of-the-art facility is host to many monthly community events from fundraisers and fashion shows to workshops and art classes.

2. Contemporary Art Chicago April 30-May 3

Picture 31This annual international fair of contemporary and modern art brings together the world’s leading emerging and established art galleries. There are plenty of current and historic works in a wide variety of media, including painting, photography, drawings, prints, sculpture, video and special installations. Programming highlights include Perspective Texas, which will have art from Texas’ top collectors and curators, and Survey America, a floor-wide exhibit that highlights works by artists living and working in the US. There will also be speaker programs that feature international artists, writers, curators and critics discussing trends and issues in the contemporary art market.

Bahdeebahdu, Need We Say More?

Picture 16Bahdeebahdu is an explosively imaginative studio for design and the development of art, sculpture and furnishings. Bahdeebahdu is unlike any other gallery in the area, showcasing the works of Philadelphia’s favorite “Luminary” Warren Muller. Muller creates functional lighting sculptures by following the mantra “everything is up for grabs.” Found, recycled and salvaged objects turn into light sculptures that are featured in this gallery, along with various places around the city like theatres and restaurants.

Bahdeebahdu also houses works by interior designer RJ Thornburg, Muller’s lifetime partner and self-proclaimed Fabulist. RJ has been designing for twenty-five years and has left his fun and easy-going design mark all over Philadelphia (from bakeshops to internationally renowned hotels).

2. Last Chance for Rare Picasso & More 12/1-12/12/09

Picasso is known for his abstract paintings, but he was also a talented ceramic artist.  Having one of the largest collections of Picasso ceramics to be offered by a private gallery, The Andrew Weiss Gallery is proudly presenting Picasso Ceramics (1947-1969). For the first time, more than 50 rare ceramic works are being made available to collectors. Picasso’s quest to master all mediums is demonstrated through this exhibition that also includes his drawings, etchings, and lithographs.

Additionally, the exhibit includes works by Salvador Dali, Joan Miro, Marc Chagall, Henri Matisse, and other 20th century masters.

5. Homage to LA in Dreamers Exhibit 12/1-1/3/2010

Harry Chandler’s exhibition, Dreamers in Dream City, is an homage to the men and women of Los Angeles. Chandler found inspiration in the men and women who come to this city to chase their dreams and mixed his passion to photography to create an exceptional and thought-provoking art exhibit.

View over 55 large-scale portraits created by Chandler of the most accomplished men and women in the city. Chandler uses “post visualization’ to merge past and present. His technique confirms that the effect of Dream City is timeless.
